tuesday, i turned 29. i have to say, it's the first birthday where i really feel like an adult. i say that every year. maybe one of these years, i will actually start acting like one. it was a great birthday. very low key. breakfast with the mr. in the morning. then class for a few hours. then a fancy schmancy dinner at christopher's steak house and a movie with the hubs at night. usually i like a big fuss for my birthday, but this year, the low key, mellow idea was totally what i needed, and wanted. just a quiet night with the one who matters most to me.
that's not to say i didn't get a fuss though. i got lots of presents, flowers, and birthday wishes from so many people in my life. sure brought a smile to my face and made me feel so special.
