STELLA!!!!!!
we had a productive few days off this week. after a few months of trying to sell my beloved car in attempts to save some money that we were unnecessarily spending, and with little interest from anyone to buy the car, we had about given up. then i got one of those many, "is your call still for sale?" emails. i responded yes, with little expectation of it going anywhere. well, the next day, this cute couple made an offer on the car. and the day after that, stella went to a new home. now that she is actually sold, i'm pretty bummed she won't be around anymore. but the couple who bought her LOVE subi's. in fact, stella is their 3rd one and the one she is replacing is 12 years old with 175k miles on it. so i know she will be well used. and even better news is, with insurance and car payment, we will be saving almost $500/month! sweetness. now we can save that money for my tuition to CRNA school...if only $500/month would even closely cover the tuition...

I sold my car right before Benjamin was born so that we could afford for me to stay home with my boys and not work. We saved almost $500 a month and that was just the car payment (oh how I shudder to think about that!)
ReplyDelete..and I wish $500 a month would pay for Jeremy's tuition. He had a hike this year and we're now up to paying $27k a year! Ugh! Why must higher education be so expensive?
